Programme Note

Standing tall and proud,

swathed in red, orange and yellow

is the Marquis of Marigold - The Lord of the Borderland.

The Lord of neither life nor death.

His heart warm and open, unburdened and pure.

He stands not to rob the living

but to serve the living.

A guide.

A welcoming figure to illuminate the darkness.

To rejoice and celebrate the life of the deceased.
