Programme Note 

Moving Figure was inspired by a life drawing by London-based artist Rachel Pank. The painting is  a striking and bold study of line, comprising of two loosely drawn figures surrounded by subtle strokes of colour. This composition employs the same approach and explores some of the possibilities that can be achieved through the use of musical line and instrumental colour.
